MPD Session 2

Building on the Skills Audit:

This session allows you to record your current skills, knowledge and competence in relation to qualifications, work-experience, positions of responsibility and extracurricular activities. Here is the chance to look in detail at how you have developed as a result of all these experiences, using both your own self-reflection and feedback from objective sources. There is also an opportunity to pinpoint your key strengths and key areas for improvement.

Why do we need to do this........?

"It will help me keep a record as I go along, rather than trying to remember it all at the end."
"All the relevant information in one place instead of scattered about"

Also in this session we explore your personality!

Session 1 - Creating A Skills Audit

WHO ARE YOU REALLY?
Hopefully you have now downloaded an E-Portfolio and stored that somwhere safe! You should of course remember to back up all your work in another location.
The main purpose for this session is to assess your skills in areas most valued by employers and others. Listen to the interviews with other students to see how helpful they found this.
Your skills audit will enable you to identify the areas where you have strengths and weaknesses. You can then set targets for improvement.
Session 2 will examine your personal attributes in other ways and allow you to see the type of personality you have... Are you a natural teamworker? Maybe you prefer to work alone.

In Session 2 you will know more!
